Maggie Valley, NC - Under a clearing fall sky with leaves full of color on the trees, Cataloochee Ski Area has a full chairlift of the first skiers and riders of the 2008-2009 season. Cataloochee opened today at 1pm for its first day of skiing and riding. This marks the fourth straight year that the area has been one of the first resorts in the country to open.
I'm going to have to go south to snowboard?
